Meet Jake

Jake is a relational therapist who focuses on intimacy, sexuality, identity development, and authentic connection. His work is grounded in one belief: meaningful change begins with meaningful connection. Jake creates a therapeutic space defined by warmth, curiosity, humor, and emotional depth, where clients can explore parts of themselves that have long felt hidden, muted, or misunderstood. A central focus of his work is supporting bisexual and questioning clients. As a bisexual man, he brings an affirming, nuanced perspective for those navigating identity, desire, and belonging.

Group Facilitator

Jake Paschke, LMFT

Most men leave with more language for their experience, more ease in their body, and more capacity to relate, without needing to “solve” their identity on a timeline.

What happens during the Between Spaces Group?

Each week, this virtual meeting gives participants a confidential place to explore sexual identity, attraction, and desire in real time. There is no pressure to arrive at a label or a final answer. You will be invited to speak honestly about what is true for you right now, and you will have the option to move at your own pace.

The group is relational by design. That means the work is not only in what you share about your life outside the room. It is also in how you experience yourself with other men as you talk. You may notice what you hold back, what you soften, what feels risky to name, and what happens when you are met with curiosity instead of judgment. Over time, that kind of contact builds clarity, self-trust, and a stronger sense of belonging.

Topics may include:

  • Attraction patterns and “gray areas” (romantic vs. sexual, fantasy vs. reality, desire vs. behavior)

  • Shame, secrecy, and the cost of compartmentalizing

  • Dating, relationships, and intimacy, especially when your identity feels in flux

  • Coming out, disclosure, and boundaries, including if and when to share

  • Masculinity, belonging, and what feels safe with other men

  • Internalized stigma, self-judgment, and building self-compassion

  • Building language for your experience without forcing a conclusion

  • Learning to tolerate uncertainty while staying honest with yourself

This group helps you leave with more language for your experience, without pressure to choose a label.
